Nomination procedures
Many national scholarships and prestigious fellowships require University nomination or endorsement to apply. In these cases, ONSA establishes a campus deadline that is several weeks or months in advance of the submission deadline posted by the awarding organization’s website. The tables below list the fellowships that have a preliminary campus deadline, as well as major programs that do not have a preliminary deadline.
Students or recent graduates who seek nomination for any of these awards should attend an information session and schedule an individual meeting with the appropriate ONSA advisor. Students who enter the nomination pipeline for these awards will be added to a Canvas platform with specific guidance and instruction on the application processes.
