Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship

Deadline

January

Overview

Every year, the Pershing Square Foundation awards up to five full scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 MBA, covering both the Master and MBA year. Pershing Square Scholars are exceptional individuals who can demonstrate the potential and commitment to finding scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.

Established in 2014, the Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship provides funding for tuition, college fees and a contribution towards living expenses for both years of studies.

The Oxford 1+1 MBA is a unique opportunity for talented individuals to combine a Master’s degree from one of several Oxford University departments with a one-year MBA.  As the business environment becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, this powerful combination allows students to gain deep knowledge and expertise in their field of choice as well as developing a comprehensive understanding of business, exceptional leadership skills, and practical experience.

Benefits

Funding for tuition, college fees and a contribution towards living expenses for both years of studies.

Students also benefit from opportunities for mentorship and networking with inspirational individuals and organizations that are part of the Pershing Square Foundation’s community. Students become integrated into Saïd Business School’s community as soon as they begin the Master’s degree by attending receptions and meetings with the Dean, faculty and other MBA scholars.

Students will also be invited to a spring ‘trek’ to New York City hosted by the Pershing Square Foundation, where they can participate in meetings and workshops with leading innovators and change makers.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates wishing to apply to the Oxford 1+1 MBA will need to complete two application forms: one for the chosen Master’s and one for the Oxford MBA. To qualify for entry on the Oxford 1+1 MBA students must meet both programmes’ entry requirements.
